Going Beyond the Hard Skills – IDP testimonial

Going Beyond the Hard Skills – IDP testimonial

We are pleased to share insights from a recent interview with Rena Chai, who completed the International Directors Programme (IDP) at INSEAD. In her role, Rena navigates diverse board dynamics and was looking for a programme that could offer a range of international perspectives.

What sets the programme apart? Real-world case studies, global perspectives, interactive discussions, and simulation exercises that bridge theory to practice.

Beyond the skills, the IDP has given Rena a global network through INSEAD’s Directors Network. This valuable community provides diverse perspectives, enriching her approach to family business governance.

INSEAD Open Day with Faculty Masterclass

INSEAD Open Day with Faculty Masterclass

The financial sector has a central role to play in global action on climate change. Achieving Net Zero by 2050 will necessitate a massive reallocation of capital around the world that will only succeed if major private sector financial organisations, such as banks, asset owners and asset managers, ensure that their financing decisions and other actions support decarbonisation efforts in the real economy.

In this session, we will critically examine current efforts in the financial industry related to the Net Zero Transition, such as financial sector Net Zero initiatives and in particular the role of financial institutions’ own Net Zero commitments in aligning incentives with real economy businesses.
