INSEAD Open Day with Faculty Masterclass

INSEAD Open Day with Faculty Masterclass

The financial sector has a central role to play in global action on climate change. Achieving Net Zero by 2050 will necessitate a massive reallocation of capital around the world that will only succeed if major private sector financial organisations, such as banks, asset owners and asset managers, ensure that their financing decisions and other actions support decarbonisation efforts in the real economy.

In this session, we will critically examine current efforts in the financial industry related to the Net Zero Transition, such as financial sector Net Zero initiatives and in particular the role of financial institutions’ own Net Zero commitments in aligning incentives with real economy businesses.

INSEAD Business Sustainability Programme: You will come away enlightened mentally, intellectually and emotionally

“Sustainability is absolutely critical in terms of advisory and board work,” said Cleopatra Kitti, Founder, The Mediterranean Growth Initiative. “We’re at an important juncture in Europe and the US, where we really need businesses to rethink how they deliver shareholder value in the longer term. Infineon Technologies and INSEAD: A Partnership That Goes Beyond a Customer-Client Relationship

“We want leaders to be constantly asking themselves: “Is it really an ambitious target that we are working towards?”, “Is it clear who’s owning what and do we have a clear mandate?”, and “Are we making timely decisions to cater to the demands of the market?” I believe that all this contributes to shaping their leadership, personality, and how they seek to impact the business target,” said Jessica Richter, Senior Director, and Head of People & Leadership Development at Infineon.

In this exclusive interview, Jessica shares her unique insight into how the company’s people development strategy ties in to their overall business objectives, and how INSEAD is playing a key partnership role in preparing top management to lead the organisation.
