In the blink of an eye… we’re already a full month into 2024! They say time flies when you’re having fun (and of course, have an ever-colourful Outlook calendar). Who else feels like January has flown right by?

Taking a moment to pause and reflect on this fast-paced start to the year, I’m grateful for the wonderful TEAMS that inspire me with their passion, heart, and bringing the best out of one another. The last few weeks alone were full of fascinating discoveries (learning about AI, innovative design and more with our very own branding team Thomas Piemontese, Zoe Bilan, Christelle Bloy and Pinky Chng), insightful stories and experiences (peeling the “INSEAD onion” with Rachel Maguer, Claudia Monteiro and andrew crisp), and making exciting plans for the near future ⁠(upcoming retreat with the whole #INSEADCommsTeam – you know who you are)! Stay tuned…

With 11 months to go, there’s so much more in store for 2024. Can’t wait to discover the new ways our community will come together to create a multitude of #INSEADmoments and milestones. Onwards and upwards, #TeamINSEAD!

2024 is here and I’m pretty excited about it! Let me share why.

I work with the amazing team you see below. This is the INSEAD communications team and they are all awesome. Based in Singapore, Abu Dhabi and Fontainebleau, they have mastered working across time zones to produce and publish superb content in record speed. They naturally look to celebrate, help and support one another and we energise together with our regular ‘eating cake and treats moments’.

Communications at INSEAD is everything from branding to media relations, research communications, digital communications, social media and institutional communications and below are the talented people that make it happen every day!

So now you’re starting to see why I’m so excited about 2024. We have kicked off the year with this INSEAD community campaign: 2024 is ours to create together! And together, this year we will continue to further build the reputation of The Business School for the World through strong branding and authentic communications.

Lets create an exceptional 2024 together

When INSEAD invited me to add to the global mosaic, I jumped at the opportunity. The slogan ‘2024 is ours to create, together’ really resonated with me, because on our wedding day, the Pastor gave a sermon to my husband and I, for our marriage and life together. That sermon was titled: “#StrongerTogether”!

This has been us since we met, and this remains us today. So when I saw the slogan, it was immediately a no-brainer as to which picture I’d use.

So here’s me and my ‘Stronger Together’ at ‘our’ Global Executive MBA graduation (because it is as much his as it is mine). We’ve been creating memories, curating happiness, and building a legacy since 2015, and by the grace of God, we’re very much just beginning, and our best is yet to come!

So, cheers to INSEAD for being a part of mine, and my ‘Stronger Together’s legacy!

As parts of the world are shaking with bombings and fear, I can only start 2024 wishing for peace. I feel very lucky to be part of INSEAD, whether you work or study here, the mix of nationalities and cultures and ideas is incredibly inspiring – truly the ‘Business School for the World’.

A short walk from our Fontainebleau campus we can wander around the stunning historical Château de Fontainebleau. Over the past 800 years the castle has evolved and survived multiple wars and changes in regime, I am hopeful the world will too.

2024 is here and it’s very exciting to look ahead to my first full year as Dean of The Business School for the World.

We have seen AI take the world by storm and I thought I would have a little fun sharing this AI generated image to start the year!

I am inspired by INSEAD research and projects, already leading others to understand and develop new AI driven capabilities across business and society. As the clock struck 12 on New Year’s Eve, I stepped into 2024, with this dream! The first look of the logo of our company , Bifrost Global Ventures Consulting.

The logo is a paper plane with colors that represent the ambitions of businesses globally! Bifrost aims to connect realms and enable ventures across the world cross boundaries into India, with the ease of flying that paper plane.

📢 Spread the Word! Forum 2024: Growth and Purpose: Thriving in Rapidly Evolving Economies

The First INSEAD Forum in India aims to foster a vibrant and inclusive business community and contribute to the growth and development of the country’s economy, with alumni and friends attending and networking from all over the world. It will catalyze innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainable business practices.

We encourage you to mark your calendars and join us at the INSEAD Forum for the first time in India, in Delhi, from March 1 to 2, 2024. The venue is the Taj Mahal Hotel in Delhi. This is an event you don’t want to miss

Those tiny faces make up our INSEAD #Communications team in Asia (missing Lee Seok Hwai!), and the tree behind stood witness as we all fought food coma after a delicious lunch trying to find the best lighting to take this shot. Clearly we figured it out because you can see Isabelle Laporte and I going, “Ta Da!” 😁

As part of sharing our 2024 aspirations, mine is simply to create more #inseadmoments with this wonderful bunch of people, especially if it involves food. As Chris Howells had once mentioned (and all INSEADers seem to know), the acronym also stands for I Never Stop Eating And Drinking.

As I commence my MBA at one of the most prestigious 1 year programs in the world, this picture represents what I hope to achieve in 2024. From a professional perspective, networking with my cohort, and alumni, and getting to form personal relationships with them, hear their stories, their perspectives, their journeys, and everything in between. Hopefully I get to stay in the products space and would love to work in automotives! (Ducati Motor Holding Ducati India I’m interested! :D)

From a personal perspective, I would like to travel a lot more on my motorcycle and discover new horizons, explore rural Europe, travel to untouched areas, and read more thought provoking books!

I know I’m in for a fun year. Observing the posts of my professors and alumni, I am going to relish every moment I have this year with the gems of people around me, and I hope to make the most of it!
